Challenge

SPACE-BASE understands how our vital space sector provides, powers, platforms, and protects every facet of our modern life on Earth. Space Technology (SpaceTech) puts the “Tech” into CleanTech, ClimateTech, AgTech, FedTech, and DefenseTech. For example, the foundational framework of SpaceTech underpins, interconnects, facilitates, and accelerates all 16 DHS Critical Infrastructure Sectors, all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, all 14 DoD Critical Technology Areas, and all 14 White House Critical and Emerging Technologies.

Without the technology innovation of the Space Age…we'll be back in the Stone Age.

Vision

SPACE-BASE supports the U.S. and her U.S. space mission partners, especially NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and commercial enterprises, plus their supply chains, through cooperative innovation co-creation, co-innovation, and co-collaboration…ensuring our economic security, our health security, our climate security, our environmental security, and, ultimately, our homeland security. Together, these ensure the sustainability and national security of the U.S. & our allies.

Mission

SPACE-BASE inclusively interconnects, inspires, and ignites “whole-of-community” space innovation cooperation, coordination, collaboration, and creation by uniting the Co-Innovators of Industry, Academia, Government, and Researchers with the Co-Collaborators of Cohorts, Capital, and Catalysts. The force multiplier ecosystem driven by "empowering experiential entrepreneurship engineering" primes our precious pipelines of programs, projects, policies, pupils, products, production, and, most powerfully, people. This ultimately turbo-charges our Entrepreneurs, our Enterprises, our Education, our Employment, our Exploration, and our Equality.

SPACE-BASE especially leverages the diverse expertise and insights of our Guardians and sister branch operators, National Guard and other reservists, veterans, as well their spouses and children, plus other traditionally underrepresented groups, by empowering exploration and engagement in our entrepreneur, enterprise, and education ecosystem.
